Meet the Instructors and staff, sit on some bikes, learn about our novice and advanced courses and the ICBC licencing process (including how to set yourself up for success on the Learner’s Permit test). Bring a friend or family member. Whether you’ve already registered or you’re just considering it, come on out and we’ll answer all your questions! Coffee and snacks included. RSVP appreciated.

Motorcycle Mechanics - ($15)
Sponsored and hosted by Kelowna Yamaha, licenced mechanics will teach riders how to perform general maintenance safely on their own bikes and how to keep their bikes in top running form. Oil changes, air filters, batteries, clutch cables, exhaust systems, and much more. Bring your bike.

Group Riding - ($15)
Whether you’re a new or experienced rider, this class will show you the ins and outs of safe group riding strategies. Riders’ meetings, group size, formation, lane positioning, signals, space cushions, rider positioning within the group, route selection, skill levels and group makeup, passing, hazards, and more. Ask about a special presentation of this class for your riding club.
Ladies! Get to Know Your Bike - ($15)
We’ll show you the basics of where things are on your bike, what they are for, and how they work. Includes a proper pre-trip and a hands-on oil change.

Motorcycle Winterization ($15)
Sponsored and hosted by Kelowna Yamaha, this hands-on workshop will teach riders how to perform many of the end of season motorcycle maintenance tasks that will prepare their bikes for winter storage. A wealth of information! Bring your bike.

Bus Trip to Vancouver Motorcycle Show - ($70)
The ultimate winter road trip! Hop the bus with KDSC and see the latest motorcycles, gear, and accessories from all the major manufacturers. Trials, demos, custom bikes, blowout prices, and more. Includes show ticket, juice, snack, movies en route, and a chance to win some great prizes.

Annual General Meeting (FREE)
As a non-profit organization, this is the time when KDSC reports its happenings to the public. KDSC students are members of the Society, and are eligible to vote. Provincial funding is partially determined by AGM attendance, so please join us this evening and support KDSC!

3rd Annual Poker Run - ($25)
Registration fee includes a hand of cards, lunch, a chance to win one of many prizes, and of course a great ride! All makes and models welcome. Free event t-shirt for first 25 to pre-register.

Motorcycle Rodeo - ($10, Children Free)
Skills circuits, rider safety seminars, an 18-wheeler No-Zone display, show & shine, demonstrations, dealerships, vendors, club exhibits, swap meet, and more. This interactive event will focus on the sport of safe motorcycling and raise awareness of the benefits of rider training. A great day for the entire family!
August 12 (10am – 4pm)
Motorcycle Scavenger Hunt - ($25)
A game of strategy and riding for motorcyclists! Meet at KDSC at 9am where all riders will receive a list of locations throughout the Valley. Each location is assigned a point value according to distance and difficulty. As you take your photo at various locations as proof that you reached the destination, you'll rack up points. The rider with the most points wins....stay tuned for prize information! The day ends with a BBQ at KDSC. Don't miss the fun!
